Jackie Earle Haley who is playing Freddy Krueger in Platinum Dunes’ raping of A Nightmare on Elm Street has confirmed that he has signed on for two more sequels. This isn’t really big news since Rooney Mara — who plays Nancy in the film — revealed the same thing 5 or 6 days ago. So basically this just reconfirms what we already know, if the first film does well there will be a part two!
Bloody-Disgusting.com — “who broke the news” — just needs to milk every piece of “news” they can to make it worth selling their soul to Brad Fuller. Expect a lot more useless crap “news” from them until the A Nightmare on Elm Street remake hits theaters on April 16th, 2010.
