Austria born Christian Eigner has launched his own website at www.christian-eigner.com . Over the coming months, Eigner will be uploading selected tracks from writing and recording sessions with a number of people that he has collaborated with over the past few years. Some of this will be exclusive, unreleased material and only available at this website.
You can already check out the audio section for some work he did, we included one after the jump, “The Danger” which sound like a oldschool U2 style track with modern electronics that should please many. Check that one after the jump.
So if you wonder what kind of material could be included, check this list of bands Eigner worked with in the past: Dave Gahan, Depeche Mode, Katarina Knechtova, Kurt Ostbahn & Die Kombo, Flatz, Slava Grigoryan, Sel Gapu Mex, Maria Nayler and Veto.
Eigner also has two own musical ‘children’, namely Compact Space (with Christian Eigner, Daryl Bamonte and vocalist Florian Kraemmer) and Das Shadow (with Andrew Phillpott).

The Austrian got wider recognition since performing with Depeche Mode’s live band (since 1997), as drummer, occasional backing vocalist and, more recently, occasional keyboard player on 2009′s ‘Tour of the Universe’.
He has also played drums on the Depeche Mode albums “Exciter”, “Playing the Angel” and “Sounds of the Universe”, as well as the non-album single/EP “Only When I Lose Myself”. He has also co-written Depeche Mode tracks with singer Dave Gahan and programmer Andrew Phillpott (Broad Bean Band) since 2005.
At the moment Eigner is in the U.S. rehearsing with Depeche Mode for the forthcoming world tour for the band’s upcoming album “Delta Machine”.
