Hurts prepare release first album ‘Happiness’

German readers might have noticed that the Manchester based electronic duo Hurts gets quite some attention in the German scene press. For those who are not aware yet of the band’s existence, here’s a round-up of what they have achieved so far.
Composed of singer Theo Hutchcraft and synthesizer player Adam Anderson – both of whom used to be in the bands Bureau and Daggers – they made their first forray into notoriety in July 2009 when they got featured as “Band of the Day” on Guardian.co.uk. They also finished in fourth position in the BBC Sound of 2010 poll.
