On 23 March 2012 industrial-metal pioneers Ministry will release the new album “Relapse” via 13th Planet Records/AFM-Records as Digipack-cd, vinyl and Deluxe Fan Box. The band worked 3,5 months on it and the production was done by Sammy D’Ambruoso. The first official single (“Double Tap”) will be released on 24 February 2012.
“Relapse” incorporates elements of thrash, crossover metal, groove metal, angular prog rock, psychedelia and even classic rock. Themes as governmental corruption, untempered corporate greed, addiction and the pain and decay that accompanies sociopathic avarice are the main subjects.
